If you have new trees and are looking for a quick and efficient watering system, then you're in the right place. The 5-gallon Tree I.V. System fills in 30 seconds and will drain, unattended, within 15 minutes in normal soil. The Root Seeker guarantees a complete soaking of the entire root ball with no wasteful run-off or evaporation. Just like with a good soaking rain, your new tree will have enough water for the next 7-10 days.

  • 93% reduction in time spent. (1 min vs 15 min)
  • Direct-to-roots delivery reduces water requirement by 65%
  • Sound good? Read on if you're not convinced.

Installation and Use: Push the Root Seeker into the tree's root-well, remove the Cap, set the outlet of the Bucket onto the Root Seeker, and fill. You can walk away in less than a minute.

Follow-up: It's fine to leave the system installed all year, but if you want to remove the Bucket when empty, pull it off and replace the Cap on the Root Seeker until next time. Buckets stack nicely in the corner of your garage.

Not drip irrigation: Slow drip irrigation is a bad idea. It promotes concentrated root development at the drip, keeping the tree weak and dependent. Believe it.

Very durable: Unlike bag products, Tree I.V. can't be destroyed with a string trimmer or a lawn mower. Find a new home for them when you're done.

Fine Print: Clay or compact soil has a much slower percolation rate, and may require an initial plunging with a 5/8" dowel rod to get water flowing. This is not a problem with new trees, but can be with larger, established trees. 2) Be sure the Root Seeker is installed with the shoulder tightly against the surface to avoid water resurfacing.
